Another lip smacking delicious chicken gravy which is a
combination of Indian & Continental flavors
Serves 4-5 people
Ingredients:
6-7 pieces of chicken, boiled and kept with chicken stock
2 tbsp all purpose flour
2 medium onions, chopped and fried
3 green chillies
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1” cinnamon stick
½ star anise
3 cardamom pods
10-12 cashews
10-12 almonds
1 tsp sesame seeds
½ tsp garam masala powder
5 tbsp ghee
Coriander, for garnishing
Method:
Soak the cashews and almonds in warm water for 10-15
minutes. Grind it to a paste along with sesame seeds.
Grind the cinnamon stick, star anise, cardamom, chillies and
fried onion to a paste.
Heat ghee. Add the APF and stir well.
Add the onion paste and fry. Add ginger garlic paste and
roast this well for about 4-5 minutes.
Add the almond-cashew paste and stir well. Add chicken stock
to make enough gravy.
Add garam masala powder and mix well.
Add the boiled chicken. Now let this simmer for about 7-8
mins.
Garnish with coriander.
Serve hot with chapati or naan.
