Another amazing continental vegetarian dish
made by mom and me. Do try it out
Serves 4-5 people
Ingredients:
250 gms pasta
3 medium potatos, cut and fried into small
chips
1 packet mushrooms, cut and stir fried
1 bunch spinach leaves
1 cup milk
4 tbsp tomato ketchup
4 tbsp garlic mayonnaise
2-3 tsp mixed herbs powder
½ cup cream
Bread crumbs, to coat the tray
1 cup grated cheese
2 tbsp rice flour or maida
4 tbsp oil

Method:
Boil pasta and keep aside
Heat oil. Add maida and fry a little. Add
milk and ¼ cup cheese to this to make white sauce.
Add the mixed herbs and
pasta seasoning.
In a separate vessel, add the washed
spinach leaves and cook till it withers.
Add it to the above white sauce and mix well.
Add pasta and mix well. Check for salt and
add if needed.
In a separate bowl, mix the potato chips
and mushrooms together. Add ketchup and mayo and mix well.
This should yield a thick mixture. Keep
aside.
Now make 2 portions of the white sauce
mixture.
Now grease a baking tray. Make a thin layer
with one of the portions of white sauce mixture.
Add the tangy potato and
mushroom mixture. Cover will cheese. Now make another layer with the second
portion of the white sauce mixture. Cover will breadcrumbs.
Preheat the oven and bake at 180 C for
about 18-20 mins.
Serve hot with garlic bread.
