The other I was pressed for time and needed to make
something within 15-20 mins. I already had the chicken marinated before but
didn’t have the time to cook it on the stove. Hence came up with the idea of
cooking chicken in a microwave. Extremely simple and delicious, and tastes just
the same as stove cooked chicken.
Ingredients:
500 gms chicken
Juice of 1 big lemon
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp coriander powder
2-3 tsp kasuri methi
Pinch of food color
2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 tsp tandoori chicken masala or any meat masala
Salt
1 tbsp oil
Method:
Marinate chicken with salt and lemon juice and keep for 1-2
hours.
Now add curd, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, kasuri
methi, food color, pepper, garam masala and tandoori chicken masala and
refrigerate for about 3-4 hours.
Empty this chicken in a microwave vessel and add oil and mix
well. Place the chicken pieces side by side, not on top of each other.
Place this chicken and cover the vessel with lid in
microwave and cook on high for 5 minutes on each side. Uncover the lid and cook
open for about 3 minutes.
Serve hot with chapatti or naan.
