This is a very simple and easy to make cutlet recipe as a snack or as a side dish.
Makes 10-12 cutlets
Ingredients:
For Cutlets:
3-4 medium potatoes boiled & mashed.
1 cup sweet corn, boiled & partially mashed (you can mash as much as you like)
1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp dhana jeera powder
3-4 chopped green chilies
1 tsp kebab masala (optional)
Chopped coriander
Salt to taste
Oil for frying.
For Coating:
4 tbsp besan
4 tbsp rice flour
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp haldi
1 tsp red chili power
Rawa, to coat.
Salt to taste
Water
Method:
Mix all the ingredients for the cutlets together nicely.
Keep aside for 30-45 mins.
Make a semi-thick paste of besan, rice flour and cornflour.
Add the haldi, red chilli powder and salt.
Heat oil in kadai (preferably non-stick).
Make small balls for the cutlets and flatten them between
your palms.
Dip them in the batter and roll and fry in hot oil.
