Potato Corn Cutlets

Hello All,

This is a very simple and easy to make cutlet recipe as a snack or as a side dish.

Makes 10-12 cutlets

Ingredients:

For Cutlets:
3-4 medium potatoes boiled & mashed.
1 cup sweet corn, boiled & partially mashed (you can mash as much as you like)
1 1/2  tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp dhana jeera powder
3-4 chopped green chilies
1 tsp kebab masala (optional)
Chopped coriander
Salt to taste
Oil for frying.

For Coating:
4 tbsp besan
4 tbsp rice flour
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp haldi
1 tsp red chili power
Rawa, to coat.
Salt to taste
Water

Method:

Mix all the ingredients for the cutlets together nicely.

Keep aside for 30-45 mins.

Make a semi-thick paste of besan, rice flour and cornflour. Add the haldi, red chilli powder and salt.

Heat oil in kadai (preferably non-stick).

Make small balls for the cutlets and flatten them between your palms.


Dip them in the batter and roll and fry in hot oil.

Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
