An innovative and simple chicken recipe to make your
weekends special. The idea was actually given by friend’s aunt. However, I have
made a few modifications to it to come up with my own version.
Serves 4-5 people
Ingredients
500 gms chicken, cleaned and made slits.
2 onions, finely choped
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
4-5 green chillies
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp pizza mix/seasoning
1 tsp haldi
8-10 cashews
3-4 tbsp cream
2 tbsp oil
Salt
Method:
Grind together ginger garlic paste with the green chillies
to a fine paste (add little water if required).
Marinate the chicken with this paste along with, haldi,
oregano, pepper and pasta seasoning.
Keep this overnight or a minimum of 3-4 hours.
In a kadai, heat oil and fry the chopped onion till golden
brown.
Now add the marinated chicken and salt and cook till chicken
is partially cooked.
In the meantime, grind cashews to a fine powder in mixer.
Add cream and grind again to make creamy cashew paste.
Add this to the partially cooked chicken. Add water as
required (this is supposed to be thick gravy, so do not add too much water).
Cook well till chicken is tender.
