Mutton / Chicken Kheema Masala


This is a very easy to cook dish for all mince meat lovers out there.
Serves 4-5

Ingredients:
500 gms mince meat (mutton/chicken)
2-3 medium onions, chopped
2-3 potatoes, cut into thin slices
2 medium tomatoes, chopped finely
1 cup green peas
2-3 green chilies, chopped
2-3 tsp ginger garlic paste
2-3 tsp red chilli paste
2-3 tsp haldi
2 tsp red chili powder
2 tsp dhana jeeru powder
3-4 tsp meat masala (you can also use tandoori masala here or any other meat masala of your choice)
Salt
Chopped coriander
Oil for frying

Method:

Heat oil in a pressure pan and fry onion till golden brown.

Add chopped tomatoes to this and cook till they become soft.

Add potatoes, chillies, ginger garlic and red chili paste and cook for about 5-7 minutes.

Add the dry masala to this and keep stirring for 2 mins

Now add the washed mince (kheema) and mix well.

Let is simmer for about 5-10 minutes on slow flame.

Now add the green peas and little water.

Close the lid and let it cook for 1 whistle and then lower the flame.

Switch off the flame after 5-7 mins.

Garnish with coriander while serving.

Serve hot with chapatti’s.


PS: You can also add potato sticks on top of the kheema while eating (like the way we parsi’s eat). It will give a nice crunchy taste to the food.
