Another lip smacking dish from my kitchen to yours.
Serves 4-5 people
Ingredients
3 medium onions, roughly chopped
4 medium tomatoes, roughly chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped and fried
8-10 cashews
1 tsp melon seeds
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli paste
1 tsp haldi
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 tsp meat masala
100 gms curd
2 tsp roasted kasuri methi
For Chicken
marination
500 gms chicken, preferably boneless
1 tsp haldi
1 tsp red chilli
powder
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli paste
1 tsp dhana jeeru powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
Salt
1 tbsp oil
Method:
Marinate the chicken with all the
above mentioned ingredient and keep overnight. Grease a steel plate and place
the chicken pieces so they don’t overlap. Grill in microwave for about 15 mins
on each side.
Boil 3 onions and 4 tomatoes in a
vessels. Cool and grind to paste.
Dry Grind 8-10 cashews and 10 melon seeds.
Heat oil and butter. Add 1 medium chopped onion. Fry till golden pink color.
Add ginger garlic paste and red chilli paste.
Add curd and mix well for about 4-5
mins till curd is cooked.
Add haldi, red chilli powder, dhana jeeru powder,
garam masala powder and meat masala. Mix well for about 3-4 mins.
Add the cashew melon powder and mix
well 3-4 mins. Add the onion tomato paste. Add salt and cook till
tomatoes are cooked. Add cream and mix well. Add roasted kasuri methi and mix
well.
Simmer for about 8-10 mins. Add the
grilled chicken. Simmer for another 8-10 mins.
Serve hot with naan or chapatti.
