Yes,
you read it right. All the 3 ingredients to feed “Gobi Haters”. For a long time
I was trying to figure out a way to make gobi apart from the usual Aloo Gobi
dish.
So
do try this combination and let me know if you were successful in feeding any “gobi
haters” at home.
Serves 4-5 people
Ingredients:
1
medium cauliflower
150
gms paneer
½
green peas
3
onions, roughy chopped
2
tomatoes, grated or roughly chopped
1
tsp haldi
1
tsp red chilli powder
½
tsp garam masala
1
tsp ginger garlic paste
1
tsp dhana jeeru powder
1
tsp jeera seeds
1
tsp crushed kasuri methi
Salt
Oil
3-4 tbsp
3-4
tbsp of whipped cream
Method:
Wash
and cut the cauliflower into medium size florets (or any size you like). Boil
the cauliflower and set it aside.
Heat
oil. Add onion. Fry till golden brown.
Add
tomato and ginger garlic paste. Cook till raw smell subsides.
Now
add the dry masalas and cook well for about 5-7 mins.
Add crushed kasuri methi.
Let
this mixture cool and grind to fine paste. Add little water if you feel the
paste to be dry while grinding.
Now
heat oil and jeera seeds. Add the above mixture and cook for about 5 mins.
Add
the boiled cauliflower and peas and let it simmer on low flame for about 10-15
mins.
Now
add the whipped cream and crumbled paneer.
Serve
with chapatti or naan.
