Ginger Garlic Paste

This is one of the most important ingredients for cooking any Parsi dish. Extremely easy to make and stays for a long time too.

Ingredients:
1 cup roughly chopped ginger
1 cup roughly chopped garlic
1-2 tsp salt (acts as a preservative)
Water, as required.

Method:

Grind the ginger and garlic in the mixer. Add very little water to achieve the paste-like consistency.

Add salt and grind again.

Make sure that no pieces remain in the jar.


Remove and store in clean box. Keep it refrigerated and use whenever required.
