This is an extremely nutritious and
delicious soya nugget dish to serve as a starter.
Serves
4-5
Ingredients
300 gms soya chunks, soaked in hot water
and washed 2-3 times under cold water.
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3 tbsp cornflour
2 onions, diced
1 big capsicum, diced
1 inch ginger, finely chopped
5-6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp red chilli sauce
1 tbsp cornflour slurry (mix 1 tbsp
cornflour wth 1 tbsp water and mix well with no lumps)
Salt
4 tbsp Oil
Method:
Marinate the soya nuggets with cornflour
and ginger garlic paste and keep aside for about 30 mins.
Heat half the oil in pan. Add the nuggets
and cook till they turn crispy. Remove from pan and add salt to the nuggets and
mix well.
Heat remaining oil. Add ginger and garlic
and mix well. Add the diced onion and cook till it turns translucent. Add the
capsicum and cook for about 8-10 mins.
Now add the soy sauce, ketchup, red chilli
sauce and mix well. Add the cornflour slurry and give it a boil.
Add the fried soya nuggets and toss well.
Keep on flame for 10-15 mins.
Serve hot.
