The perfect way to end the weekend with this delicious
cheesy dish for Sunday dinner.
Serves 4-5 people
Ingredients:
4-5 pieces of shredded baked Chicken. Recipe posted here
1 capsicum, cut into pieces of your choice.
3-4 slices of salami
2 tbsp maida
1 cup milk, room temperature
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup cooked plain pasta
3 cheese slices
Salt to taste
3 tbsp oil
Method:
Heat oil. Add capsicum and salami and cook till tender. This
should take about 8-10 mins.
Remove and keep aside. In the same vessel add a bit more oil
and add maida (2 tbsp).
Stir for about a minute or two. Now add half the mozzarella cheese and stir
for about 5 mins.
Now add the milk and cook till the sauce starts thickening.
If you feel it is too thick, add some more milk.
Now add the shredded chicken pasta, capsicum and salami and
mix well.
The cheese would have started melting by now.
Make sure that the mixture is semi-thick so that it is easy
to pour into the disk to bake.
Grease a baking dish with butter. Add this mixture to it.
Now add the remaining half of the mozzarella cheese and
cover with cheese slices.
Preheat the oven at 180 C. Bake at 180 C for about 15-20
mins till the cheese starts turning brown.
Serve hot with garlic
